Britney Spears New Album Forced?

Britney Spears is apparently being forced by her music label and manager to enter the studio and record a new album.Spears would like to focus instead on her acting career.A source told the New York Post :

“Britney wants to focus on her TV and movie career right now. Jive Records and Larry are having trouble getting her to record, so they forced her hand by releasing the photo of her and Larry and a statement saying she is working on a new album this summer.”

Britney’s 2007 ‘Blackout’ album did not reach the success height that one would have expected.Britney Spears seems to be more interested in acting than music these days.

Britney Spears was found “vomiting uncontrollably” in the men’s toilets of a bar on Sunday night (27.05.07).

The singer had been drinking at the exclusive Sky Bar at Los Angeles’ Mondrian hotel and needed to be carried out when she was discovered slumped over a toilet covered in sick.

A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Britney was found slumped over the toilet bowl with make-up smeared over her face and her wig hanging off. (more…)

Kevin Federline wants custody hearing

TMZ has learned that Kevin Federline has asked a judge for an emergency hearing on Thursday to discuss his custody dispute with estranged wife Britney Spears.

A court spokesperson says only K-Fed and his attorney are scheduled to appear before the judge, but adds “anything is possible.”

Federline filed papers in November seeking spousal support and sole custody of the couple’s children- 5-month-old Jayden James and 17-month-old Sean Preston. As TMZ previously reported, a temporary court order granted the couple joint custody, with Spears having primary physical custody of the boys.

Now, with Spears’ recent erratic behavior, coupled with the fact that she’s been in and out of rehab twice in the last week, all bets may be off.
